Red Vacance Black Wedding 2011 Film Review:

Buleun Bakangseu Geumeun Wedding has some redeeming qualities. Ji-hye Ahn and In-hye Oh are stunningly hot women, who bared their chests; that alone almost made the movie worthwhile for me if that is why you came. Also noteworthy were several moments of bizarre surrealism (Red Vacation), as well as one uncomfortable drunken scene (Black Wedding) which almost sold it for me personally, had it not been for all its filler material.

Unfortunately, the first film feels like the director’s first attempt, lingering aimlessly through every shot with little purpose other than copying Criterion movies in terms of length. While at least trying to play up some camp elements it would have been much improved had more been included. Conversely, the second suffered from a lack of direction and nonstop hand-held shooting which made for difficult viewing as did its lackluster story which only really started grabbing me by its final five minutes; these elements combined made both segments almost unbearable to watch due to so little happening without meaning throughout both segments; these moments felt like chores just to sit through them!

Amazon video’s quality of video quality is appallingly poor; not even HD, but low-grade SD that could pass for download from 2003 is worse. All the beautiful scenery from the first segment has been totally disfigured by it – not necessarily due to the director’s fault; just how many will watch this story. Amazon Video stinks!

His wife became angry as her husband explained it further to his wife – so much so, in fact, that his wife decided to burn him! Meanwhile, during this heated discussion, the young woman engaged in the affair received a text message from a married man she assumed sent it herself; all three persons then came together again at a vacation home together…
