Stone 2010 Movie – Storyline :

Robert De Niro stars as parole officer Jack Mabry (Robert De Niro). With only weeks left until retirement and multiple cases to attend to before then, Jack wishes to complete those assigned to him, including that of Gerald “_Stone_ (qv), an arsonist eligible for parole who wants his pleas heard early released early released early granted early release by Jack to go further; due to this initial resistance from Jack towards “_Stone”‘s crude bantering style of talk and lack of sympathy towards prisoner pleas early release pleas were unsuccessful and saw little hope convincing Jack himself, so Gerald “_Stone_ arranged his wife Lucetta to seduce Jack in an elaborate game of deception that quickly turned deadly as motives and intentions became increasingly convoluted within passions and hidden secrets that swirled behind this deadly game of deception played out by The Massie Twins::The Massie Twins

Review of Stone (2010 Movie):

User Review:
The story is quite straightforward (read the synopsis), yet most of its focus lies within character analysis and performance – wherein actors really excelled, which accounts for most negative responses received to this film despite its slow pace. Absolutely everything about The Good Shepherd is religious-sounding; yes, even its anticlimactic ending (though that shouldn’t take away anything). De Niro shines as Jack Mabrey with ease: subtle yet commanding performances both from him and from Annette Bening in supporting roles (save for The Good Shepherd of course!). I hope De Niro continues making movies like this in the future! De Niro gives such an astonishing performance as an exhausted actor jaded from work, marriage -and life itself (I loved Frances Conroy as his spouse-, and life itself -especially his heartbreaking funeral speech for his brother) that nothing less than astonishing can come close. I cannot praise De Niro enough – his performance proves it! He’s back on his career path!
