The Mummy Returns 2001 Movie – Storyline :

Rick and Evelyn O’Connell continue their explorations into ancient Egyptian history along with their 8-year-old son Alex and discover new artifacts along the way, such as The Bracelet of Anubis which may or may not belong to The Scorpion King but which could potentially control his army once sold his soul off to Anubis…or does it? I strongly believe to enjoy The Mummy Returns you should first watch its predecessor; otherwise, you miss a lot of details that matter. Much like Indiana Jones films it follows the same plot and characters; with Alex O’Connell standing out by spending more time than expected at museums instead of houses. What sets this one apart are characters like Imhotep or Scorpion King appearing so naturally; If you enjoy Indiana Jones or Egyptian mythology then I highly suggest seeing The Mummy Returns.
