It is the sequel to the 2002 boxing film Undisputed. White portrays ex-boxer George “Iceman” Chambers, a role originally played by Ving Rhames in the first film. It was followed by two sequels: Undisputed III: Redemption (2010) and Boyka IV: Undisputed (2017), which continue the story of Russian prison fighter Yuri Boyka, played by Adkins.

Undisputed 2: Last Man Standing 2006 Movie – Storyline :

Sequel to the 2002 film. This time, Heavyweight Champ George “Iceman” Chambers is sent to a Russian Jail on trumped-up drug charges.

Years after fighting Monroe “Undisputed” Hutchen in prison, former boxing champion George “Iceman” Chambers visits Russia for several boxing matches where he is charged with possession of cocaine and sent back into imprisonment for possession. As Chambers investigates his surroundings he discovers an underground world of illegal mixed martial arts matches being organized and run illegally by inmate Yuri Boyka dominated by prison officials arranged and hosted with large side bets placed to make personal profit at the expense of fighters like Steven Parker (Chambers shared cell). Chambers began being involved when Steven Parker came over, who soon after took Chambers as his cellmate as part of their criminal syndicate and managed to recruit more fighters into participating in Yuri’s fights Chambers shared a cell with British junkie Steven Parker whom Chambers would come to share cells together until their actions grew out of control; when Chambers realized what had taken place and joined Steven Parker; their cellmates soon dwindled down; at that point there would come and no return! Steven Parker would become Chambers’ cellmate; share! Mob boss Gaga and Warden Markov inform Chambers that fighting Boyka may result in an expedited appeal process and early release. Chambers initially declined but after spending time in the prison’s sewer system and witnessing its guards’ brutality first-hand, eventually agreed. An inmate named Crot provided assistance during this humiliating time period by saving Chambers from both forms of humiliation. Both Chambers and Boyka train hard for their match; Chambers still relies heavily on his boxing background while Boyka employs deadly kicks, throws, and grappling combinations designed to humiliate his opponent in the ring. Prior to their fight however, Steven is forced by Boyka’s gang into taking an antidote during battle as Steven serves as Chambers’ cornerman during their contest with them; thus giving Boyka an unfair edge in this round.

Review of Undisputed 2: Last Man Standing (2006 Movie):

I thought this movie was pretty fun. It was certainly by the numbers, but it didn’t really disappoint. The characters were all pretty good, some over the top, but still engaging. Michael Jai White was pretty good as the protagonist (certainly uses the expression “F you” a lot), the bad guy was pretty standard but fun, and the Russian inmates were more than just cardboard cutouts. I thought the fight scenes were great, nicely choreographed, exciting, and inventive. As a sequel, well, it’s kind of interesting the bad guy from the first movie is the hero in this one, but you don’t really need to see the first one to enjoy this movie. One needs to certainly turn their brain off a bit, but as an action movie, I would definitely recommend it for fans of the genre.
