Movie Plot:  At a nursing home, resident Duke reads an old woman with dementia with memory loss a romance story set during the late 1930s in Seabrook where wealthy seventeen-year-old Allie Hamilton is spending her summer vacation. Noah Calhoun met Allie at a carnival and they quickly fell in love, even attempting to make love before getting interrupted by an outside force attempting to do just that! Unfortunately, Allie’s parents do not approve as Noah comes from an entirely different social class so Allie and Noah moved with Allie as her romance with Allie moving with Allie (hence the title “365 letters to Allie”) yet her mother Anne Hamilton does not allow all or any letters delivered!
